Over two 'tours' I have worked for 20 years in the Tariff area, primarily on Tariff Classification. I have acted as UK representative in the following international committees:

Being Technical Head of HM Customs Tariff Classification Service
Has given me a good working knowledge at all levels.

My experience in delivering practical tariff classification training in about 30 countries worldwide, when added to the above, means that there are few - if any - people in the world more qualified or experienced in this specialised field.

More recently I have also been involved with the HS2007 changes
and Consequential CN and Explanatory Note changes, and the revised Customs Code - mainly regarding Binding Tariff Information
