BINDING TARIFF INFORMATION

BTIs are not compulsory nor always necessary. But they can be very useful in protecting your liability so that you can enter into contracts etc. confident in the knowledge of the import charges or other measures that will be applied.

Holding a positive BTI also expedites applying for duty repayment.

I can advise as to whether a BTI is needed, and process the application if you wish. A clear and correct application means a quickly issued BTI. Emergency issue within two days might also be possible, though it incurs additional cost.
